Pajama Jam

I have shared before how much I LOVE Creme'. Cameron has so much fun there and the teachers are great. I love the fact that they have so many activities for the parents to be involved in (and yes I volunteer for everything I can) but they also have so many different activites for the kids! Each Friday they have a different "theme" that the kids can participate in. Last week's theme was a "Pajama Jam". Cameron got to wear his pajama's to school and watch movies throughout the day. Ms. Katherine said he had a ball. He didn't sit still for all of the movies but it was a cute concept. Here are a few pics before we left for school that morning.

A Blackberry Already.....Really?

So I had to put this picture on the blog because it is TOO funny. When taking Cameron to school in the mornings, I sometimes give him my blackberry or iPhone to play games with. Today I happened to glance back at him and he was straight CHILLIN'! Legs propped and crossed and fingers busy at work. Looks like he is scheduling meetings already. Watch out business world!

A Day at the Beach

This week Cameron had his first trip to the Beach! Lake Lanier is a gorgeous resort near the house and they have a Waterpark and Beach that is TONS of fun. Cameron's teacher Ms. Katherine has been telling me for weeks that Cameron LOVES the water (each Thursday they have "water-play" at the school waterpark) but we wanted to see for ourselves. It was just as Ms. Katherine said, he LOVED it. Believe me when I say we are now starting to save for the beach house!

Cameron turns 14 Months!!!

Cameron turned 14 months today! It is wonderful to watch him progress in his development from day to day. To celebrate I made him (well really me) some sports cupcakes. Check out how far he has come....
**He is walking everywhere! I can see him running soon
**He still only has a few words that we can hear clearly but he is making a ton of noises so I think in his mind he is talking up a storm. His new word is Coca-Cola - I wonder where he gets that from (LOL).
**He weighs in at 23 lbs! His belly is probably 5 of those 23 lbs. Grandaddy says he feels like he weighs 75 lbs! I told him it is because my baby is "Big-Boned". Like some bones are really bigger than others - hahahaha
**He knows where is belly-button, ears, feet and head are. Thumbs up means something is good, while a thumbs down means it's bad. He can sign "eat" and "more" like a pro and working on "no" and "thank you".
**He knows how to hold his hands like he is "hiking" a football. Humm, do I see NFL money in his future? He also loves to roll the basketball back and forth to his daddy. He is working on bouncing the ball now - woo, woo. So maybe it's NBA money I see in his future, that's a guaranteed contract!
**Talking on the phone is his new favorite thing to do. It's so funny because he gets mad when he puts the phone to his ear and can't hear anybody on the other end. Too cute!
Can't wait to see what the next month will bring us!
I'll eat this Vanilla Wafer until the Cupcakes are ready
Cupcakes from Mommy
Yes, it was worth the wait
"Ahh, what can I get into now?"

A Weekend Visit to AL

This weekend we went to AL to visit Papa and Granddaddy. As usual we had a great time. As you will see from these pictures, it is becoming more and more evident that while we see that Cameron looks like the Glenn's, he is all Rainey too.

World Of Coca-Cola

One of the great things about being outside a city like Atlanta is all the attractions available. In addition to all the great restaurants there are plenty of "tours" available for those who live here and those that visit. For this week's family outing we toured the World of Coca-Cola. We had a great time! You learned about the history of Coke, participated in a 4D simulated movie and had a chance to taste up to 64 different Coke products. While we didn't get through all 64 lets just say we had fun trying. We even let Cameron try a few of the fruity flavors. Some were really good, and some not so much. Remind me never to buy a Ginger Ale when we go to South Africa!

You Got Me Going in Circles

Well FINALLY Mr. Cameron has got his walking down! He took his first step on his own at 13 months and now that he is 13 1/2 months he is all over the place. Don't get me wrong, he is still lazy because he only walks when he wants to but I was finally able to catch him on video. Here he is with Jante' going in circles. Looks like he will be running soon.

Dancing Machine

Kids are so funny - they never want to perform when you want them to. I have been trying to catch Cameron dancing so that I could show everyone but he has not been wanting to cooperate. Anytime the music comes on he gets to jumping, kicking his legs and waving like he is on Soul Train! This is not the best video but at least you can see what I am referring to. It's still funny to me that he has rhythm at this young age. It's too cute!

Welcome Family and Friends

This Blog is dedicated to all of our Friends and Family who have been there for us through this 9+ month process. We are so excited to share little Cameron's progress with you. We ask that you check back on a regular basis for updates. Thanks for all of the prayers!! We love you.
