After School Staycation

Glenn Party of 3 decided to start a new family tradition.......An End of School Staycation!  You know from previous posts that Cameron LOVES hotels!  We decided to take advantage of that and spend some time visiting local hot spots in the downtown Atlanta area.  While on our staycation we could not pass up the opportunity to visit some friends for a pool party.

The highlight of the weekend was a visit to the College Football Hall of Fame.  This kid could not have been more excited!  Let's just say he is certain one day he will be featured in this building as well.  And let him tell it he will be playing for Oregon (at least today this is what he says)!

Last Day of Kindergarten

WOW!!!!!  Honestly, as I type these words I can not believe it.  Our sweet (most of the time), funny (all of the time), smart boy has finished his first year of school.  The time has gone by so fast it doesn't seem right.

We have learned so much this year.  About Cameron, about how we MUST have a schedule/calendar to keep up with everything AND how much Pintrest if our friend!!!!

This year I had the pleasure of serving as Room Parent for Cameron's class - not for sure if I will do that again anytime soon but it was a great opportunity for me to learn the ropes.  It's been so much fun but now we are ready for SUMMER!!!!

Looking forward to seeing what 1st grade has in store for us.

Here are a few pictures from the last few days of school.

Snack Time

Another day of activities for the last weeks of school.  Today movie time means SNACK TIME!!!!  Cameron had to take snacks for he and 2 friends.  Mommy didn't have much time so thanks to Pintrest and items that were already in the pantry, frig and craft room we looked like we really worked hard! LOL!

Mother's Day

Another great Mother's Day!  I can't express how much I love this job!  I have to say, some days are stressful (work, school, games, running around, etc) but I would not trade it for the world!

Jante' and Cameron surprised me with some beautiful charms for my pandora bracelet and then off to church and breakfast.  Saturday we got a chance to celebrate lunch (after his game) with Nanny, Auntie Nee Nee and McKenzie.

Each year I am so appreciative of all the blessings I have.  Partnering with my main man (Jante') to raise a respectful, mannerable, smart, talented brown boy is our mission and we certainly choose to accept it!

Field Day

As working parents we are STILL trying to figure out how to do this!  We have learned so much this year (our first year of real school).  We now know to block the last 4 Friday's of school.  Why?  Because there WILL be something going on.  LOL!  Today we had the opportunity to have fun at Woodward Academy's Spring Fling.  It was great weather (well actually hot) and a perfect time for a picnic.

Cameron and his friends had a ball.  It was too funny watching them.  Here are some pics and videos of them.  All I can say is I guess we need to buy Cameron a hula hoop so he can keep practicing!

A Family Visit

I just LOVE when my family comes in town.  Now that Cameron is older he certainly makes sure that he shares with his family EVERYTHING that he is involved in.

This visit Auntee Shell and Auntee Vivian was able to go to his Football game, go to the park, kill ants and enjoy his program at school.

I'm so proud of him for how he performed at school.  I can say we were such PROUD parents!!!  He's so grown up!!!!

Welcome Family and Friends

This Blog is dedicated to all of our Friends and Family who have been there for us through this 9+ month process. We are so excited to share little Cameron's progress with you. We ask that you check back on a regular basis for updates. Thanks for all of the prayers!! We love you.
