Last Day of Pre-School

I can HARDLY believe it but today was the last day of preschool for our little sweet heart.  There was a huge party today to celebrate and say goodbye to his current teacher Ms. Tina (she's below walking Cameron to the car). Just thinking about it makes me want to cry!!!  Monday our little boy will be going to Pre-K (or Kindergarten Prep as it is now called).

Today we attended an orientation to help us learn what the new curriculum and process will look like.  Who knew that 4 year olds would have homework?? Jante and I were shocked!!!  No more "family style"dining...the kids will have their own tray, have homework once a week, have weekly presentations (where they actually use a microphone to present....) and have a REAL science fair in the spring.

So this weekend it is all about school clothes shopping, school supply shopping (yes, they have a list check it out below) and getting ready for Monday. My, my, I still can't believe it!!! Stay tuned for more tears!!!
