A great Holiday Weekend

Memorial Day weekend was the best ever!  We have been going, going, going and it was finally great to just relax!  No family visiting (but you know we love you), no BBQ to prepare and no driving up and down the highway.....just enjoying the great weather and our little family.

But don't get me wrong....we enjoyed ourselves.  After a few weeks of planning - Saturday was the cul-du-sac get together.  A jumpy, water play for the kids and smores....who could ask for me.  Then there was a great trip to Serenbe (the best little town ever...where the HGTV Dream Home was in 2012).  We were even able to do a little house hunting down there.  Who knows....maybe we will end up there - Cameron loves it...but can we talk daddy into it is the question.

We've talked about it already it but the time is now.........Every other day Mommy and Daddy are taking Cameron to some type of practice or game.  TBall is highlighted this week.  This has been the most interesting thing I have ever seen.  These kids are hilarious!!!!!!  I love every minute of it!! Fun times!!! Stay tuned for game pictures.

His first visit to the Dwarf House

Since I have been with Chick-fil-a its been great exposing Cameron to the wonderful benefits that the company has to offer.  So today we decided to give Cameron a "historical" tour of the Chick-fil-A story with a trip to the Dwarf House (the very 1st Chick-fil-A).  He loved hearing the story how the original Chick-fil-A didn't just sale the chicken mini's or milk shakes that he loves so much.  And how it was named the Dwarf Grill (Dwarf House) because it was so small and only had 4 tables and 10 stools!  But most of all he LOVED the little dwarf door that you can enter through.  And most of all mommy and daddy loves the food.....yum, yum, yum!

A Great Mother's Day

This time of year like many women I always reflect on my role as a mother.  I have to say it also makes me miss my mother even more than ever.  I know she would be so proud of me and how I (we) are raising Cameron.  While I have my flaws like not cooking as often as I should (she would not be happy about that) I still often hear her voice saying to me, "Well done" and that make me happy!

Jante' and I had a great weekend celebrating and then on Sunday we were able to go to his mother's for a family cook out.  We were especially excited because this was the first really nice weekend without rain in a while.  Perfect weather, great food and family - what could be a better Mother's Day treat?

Brother Cousin Kenzie

A great evening watching his brother-cousin Kenzie play a scrimmage game.  The only thing that would make him happier is out on the field with McKenzie! LOL!

Welcome Family and Friends
