Big Trouble in Little "Creme"

This has been a CRAZY busy week at the Glenn's! It's been so crazy because I got 2 separate phone calls this week from the Director (or shall I call her Principal) of Creme'. Cameron got sent to the principle's office (TWICE)! Yes you heard me correctly. He is going through a "phase" where he is being, well let's just say, a bit aggressive with his "friends". When Mr. Cameron wants something (anything) he will do whatever it takes to get it - even if it means scratching or screaming. Cameron is a great little boy, he really is one of the sweetest boys you will meet. So I have no idea where this is coming from. I have talked to several parents and they tell me not to worry that it does happen (to some kids) but REALLY? At 22 months! Is this the first sign of terrible two's? I don't think I am ready.
Jante' and I have been working with Cameron this week. We most certainly don't want Mommy to be called to the Principal's office again! But we are not going to fret, we know with some work at home and some prayer things will be back in order in no time.
Because we didn't want to make this week a week full of pure punishment for Cameron we decided that after getting "prayed up" at church we would go for a nice family stroll at the local nature preserve park. We had a great time and trust me, we needed it! Cameron also let off some steam by running abound and after me and his dad. Now we are thinking he might be a track star. What ever he ends up being let's just hope it is NOT a contact sport!

Park Play

The weather has been great (thank GOD we are back in the south!) So of course we wanted to take advantage of it. We had to pick up a few items from Nana's house so we decided to go to the park with Kaylin and Buddy (Cameron's new best friends). Cameron loves the swings at the park but for some reason today he wanted to CLIMB like he was Superman. Once he realized he could climb on the bars he did not want to get down! Check him out!

Dancing Machine!!!

You all know this by now - Cameron loves to dance! He is PURE entertainment. I really believe he knows when he is "on stage" and takes full advantage of it. I admit, he can be shy when he is with people he doesn't know well. But once he gets to know you - this is what you get!

Pic of the Week

Cameron had a great time with Nana this weekend. She snapped pictures while we were gone so that we could see how good of a little boy Cameron was being. One of those pictures became my Pic of the Week. Check out Mr. Cameron looking so innocent! I am sure he went running wild just after this picture was taken!

VDay Suprises

For Valentine's Day Cameron got to celebrate with his friends at Creme'. Each "friend" was asked to bring goodies for the other friends. Of course you know I LOVED this (Cameron did too, he was a great helper in putting his gift bags together)! Cameron got to dress in red (the color of love) for the class party. Here is a pic of his goodie bags and a pic with him and his daddy.

McKenzie's Birthday Celebration

I have shared with you all several times before that Cameron LOVES his cousin McKenzie. I really believe he thinks they are brothers. Sometimes Cameron will just watch McKenzie like a hawk - then try to be just like him!
Next Tuesday - Febuary 15th McKenzie will turn 11. We decided to go to Monkey Joes and then to dinner to help him celebrate. I will say McKenzie really enjoyed himself. Cameron did too but he spent the ENTIRE time watching McKenzie vs. playing in the jump zones! We just could not believe that Cameron didn't go crazy in the jumppy things. Mr. Personality was once again acting shy and reserved! After seeing this I now know I will NOT be spending money on a jump zone for him for his birthday! Those funds will go toward something else. LOL!

Back in Action

Okay so it's been almost 2 weeks since I was able to post (without my computer, sorry) but I am back in action. Below is a quick recap of past couple of weeks.
Birthday party for Kaylyn
Cameron attended his 2nd birthday party this month for Miss Kaylyn Price. Cameron met Kaylyn through one of our "Mommy and Me" groups and they became instant friends. Kaylyn's mom (also named Kim) and I say all the time that Kaylyn is Cameron's little girlfriend (even though she is older than him, lol - by 2 months!) We had a blast at Kaylyn's party. You should have seen Cameron - he was all over all the little girls. A mack in the making!

Superbowl Party
Cameron LOVES football (and basketball) and so we couldn't pass up an opportunity to take him to a Superbowl party. Amazingly he watched the first 1/2 of the game with everyone else and enjoyed it like he really knew what was going on! It's funny because the crowd was split as to which team they were rooting for but Cameron was for BOTH teams. Whenever the Packers would score the crowd would go crazy and Cameron would run from one side of the room to the other, jumping and screaming. But then when the Steelers would score he would do the same thing! It was hilarious.
