A Family Luau

One thing I LOVE about CFA is all of the family events we have throughout the year.  Today we had a blast at the End of Summer Family Luau.  Face painting, crafts, movies food and more.  Cameron spent a few hours with me at work (attending meetings) and then ended the afternoon with the Luau festivities.

The great thing is even when he goes to school this fall we will still be able to participate in these activities.  What a blessing!

Playdate with Team Echols

Cameron and his BFF Preston had a great time tonight.  It was Parent's Night Out at Score Indoor.  The boys (along with miss sweet Pria) got to play soccer, kickball and dodgeball for hours!  Mommy and Daddy got a chance to have a nice romantic dinner and have some quite time together without having to pay for a babysitter!  Looking forward to many more of these nights!

Cow Appreciation Day

It's Cow Appreciation Day 2014!!!!!  Any customer who dresses up like a cow can get a free chicken sandwich.  I tried to get Mr. Cam to dress up like a cow.....this was the best I could do!  We did however get some free nuggets!

Happy 4th of July!!!!!

Another great Independence Day!!!!!  And can I tell you the weather was BEAUTIFUL all weekend long.  We had a great time and enjoyed the outside by going to the Braves game.  The plan was to stay to see the fireworks (without having to camp out in a field somewhere with 9 million people) but let's just say Mr. Cameron was like....NOT!!!!  He didn't want to hear the loud noises so we left before the fireworks started.  This is the 2nd time this has happened....remember Disney?  I thought by now he would be cool with the sounds but not yet.  Oh well, there is always next year!

Swim Issues

While I have no pictures for this post I wanted to let you all know what's been going on.  Long story short I decided to get Cameron a personal swim instructor (a referral from a neighbor).  I was thinking this would be great......we have been driving about 35 minutes each week to take him to group lessons.  Since this lady would come to us I decided it was worth the extra money.

Note to all parents out there......all things that sound good are NOT always good!  This has been one of the worst experiences ever.  This lady has been terrible!  Because of her Cameron doesn't even want to put his head under the water anymore.  What?????  How do you swim without putting your head under the water?  Wow!!!  She has made him regress all the way back to 2 years ago!!!!

We have got to figure this out.  I told Cameron, no camps, beach vacations, any summer fun without him swimming.

Please pray for us!
