Fall Festival Time

After enjoying his friend Preston's 6th Bday party we joined them for a local fall festival.  This is one of the great things I love about small towns.  First Baptist of Fairburn put on a fall festival for the community.  Free food, games and entertainment for the kids (including a hey ride).  And to top it all off mommy (me) won a Wal-Mart gift card!  I wonder who will get a new toy?  We all know the answer to that one!

Super Goober Day

Woodward Academy started as a Military Academy in the late 1800's.  Back then they called the younger cadets "goobers".  So in honor of the younger students Woodward Academy started to host what they called "Super Goober Day".  It's basically a fall festival for the Primary school students.  So of course I had to be there with my little one to celebrate.  Daddy was not able to join us but we had a blast anyway.  Cameron and his friends ran and played until their little hearts were content!  Can't wait until next year's!

Let's PLAYBALL!!!

Another outing with his JCCC friends.  This month the kids connected with their old Playball coach (Coach Ashley).  The weather could not have been better!!!  They started with some pumpkin crafting before getting down to business.  The parents even had fun joining in on the fun.

Fun with his Chick-fil-A Buddies

A few parents (from Chick-fil-A) got together and decided we would have the kids that were in class together at the JCCC get together monthly to keep their connection with each other.  Each month a different parent will plan the event.  No matter how large or small the goal is to keep these kids connected with each other since they are big boys and girls now and going to all different schools.

This month it was on The Glenn's to plan the event.  The Zoo and dinner it was.  The weather was great and the kids had a ball.  More fun to be had in the coming months!
