Pic(s) of the week

We are heavy into the Bday party time for Cameron's friends.  We went to Preston's bday party today and Cameron had a blast!  Keisha Echols (Preston's mom) did an excellent job with the party,  Halloween themed and she had a Fire truck come give the kids rides.

Coming out of the party are 2 of my pics of the week!

JCCC Costume Parade

Costume, check!.......Candy, check!.......excitement, check!  It was time for the annual JCCC Costume Parade.  And Cameron was ready to go.  Jante' and I were excited as well (everyone kept telling us how much fun this parade would be).  Little did we know it was as big of a deal as it was!  The parade started at 8:30 and by the time we arrived (8:25) the parking lot was Out of Control!  I really think every CFA employee was there to give candy and take pictures of the kids in their costumes.

We saw several super heros, animals and princesses.  But of course Mr. Cameron stole the show!!!  At least that's what we were told.  With his Red Power Ranger costume and candy bucket in hand he made sure he let everyone know he was a super hero too!

Costume Time

I mentioned that Cameron is DEAD set on being a Red Power Ranger for Halloween.  I have to admit I was not happy about this.  He was so cute these past couple of years and the costumes we found were really nice quality.  I have been looking and looking and could not find a Red P.R. costume that was decent quality.  They all looked cheap and really didn't even look like the real P.R.'s you see on the cartoon.  So for our Saturday outing we were on a mission.

This lead us to the Spirit Halloween store.  To my surprise they had some really cute stuff.  And of course we found a Red Power Ranger costume.  Cameron was thrilled!!!!!  And when we got it home to try it on, mommy and daddy were thrilled as well.  Can't wait until Friday at the Halloween Costume Parade to show you the pictures........stay tuned!!!

3rd Annual Jaemor Farms Visit

It was time for the 3rd annual Jaemor Farms Pumpkin Patch visit. It was a bright sunny fall day and a great day to spend together. As it is every year, it was extremely crowded with families playing the games, enjoying the hay rides, petting zoo and eating great food. This year was even better because now that Cameron is older, he can tell us what he does and does NOT want to do. This included telling us he did NOT want to ride the pony!

Fall Festival

Fall is in the air once again.  That means time for the Fall Festival at the JCCC.  Today was great.  It has been raining for a few days and I was nervous that would mean no Festival.  Well we all know after the rain comes the sunshine!  It was great weather and great fun!!!!  Cameron had a blast with his friends.  Our goal (well my goal) was to stay for 1 1/2 hours only......let's just say that did not happen.

Baking - Week 2

This week was all about Cinnamon Sticky Buns......I'm telling you.......Cameron is a pastry chef in the making!

Boo Boo Buddie

Cameron LOVES Spongebob Squarepants.  So when I purchased his "first aid kit" I had to get the Spongebob Boo Boo Buddie (ice pack).  We've had it for a while but thankfully have not had to use it.  Well the time has come.  Tonight somehow Cameron fell going UP the stairs and bruised his leg.  Here he is getting sympathy from his daddy and Spongebob!  Too Cute.

Happening Now

Did I mention that I love the JCCC??!!!!  Today parents were asked to come read to the class and of course I signed up.  The goal was to have parents reading the same book to kids (all across the US) at the same time.  Of course Cameron was so happy to see mommy walk in the door.  And he had to have the best seat in the house!

Another activity!!!

We did this to ourselves.  Swimming lessons, soccer lessons, t-ball lessons, playball and now Karate????  Really?  Is this necessary?  I know......it's a lot.  But he is so darn cute in this outfit!

It's Fall!!!!!

It's fall and that means time for cooking!  Cameron loves to get in the kitchen with me.  Now we know that's pretty much only when Mommy is baking something but none the less, he loves it.  So I told him each Sunday for the month we can make some of his favorites.  First on the list was caramel apples!!!  Okay so it's mommy's favorite but Cameron likes them too (lol!)
